Turkish American National Steering Committee (TASC) together with Kemal Bozkurt held a gathering in Lawrence, Massachusetts to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey. This activity was 6th annual event in this location.

Before the start of the program, US Senator and 2020 potential nominee for POTUS Elizabeth Warren, Massachusetts Governer candidate Jay Gonzalez and US House candidate Lori Trahan greeted the crowd and enjoyed the Turkish baklava sponsored by Turkish Airlines.

Other participants included State senator Barbara L’litalien, State Representative Marcos Devers, Lawrence City Officials, Council General of Republic of Turkey to Boston Ceylan Erişen, Local Turkish civil organizations and Turkish Americans.

After speeches, participants enjoyed the food sponsored by TASC.
